For six hours over 30 people came together to complete LA WOMAN #3 paint by numbers at Magic Garage 6.  Thanks to all who participated.

What’s Sofrito?  Sofrito is a base made of ají dulcé, tomatoes, onions, garlic, culantro, cilantro, & bell peppers.  This base is blended and then used to make a number of dishes such as arroz con guandu or gandules.

I painted my imaginary sofrito garden a few weeks ago after I order some seeds from José of Caribbean Seeds.  I’m dreaming big, huh? Yes…I’m a plant killer, but let’s not focus on the past. I’m really going to try this time.

This morning they were wrapped in a wet paper towel & placed in a zip-lock.  Seems easy enough, right.  The video below by Earth Mother will guide you through it.
